This post took me over 2 hours because the photos took forever to be uploaded!><

Hong Kong, 2nd day:

First on the itinerary was the ngong ping cable car.
We went in the morning to avoid the crowd but...

The crazy long queue:/
But Joanne said it would be worse if we had gone later, and she was right.
We waited for over half an hour and entertained ourselves with comments about our tourists. Lol.

Our turn, finally!:D

Thankfully, my acrophobia only acts up on the pirate ship. The cable car was mild.

There's a hiker trail for people who're crazy or have to much time on their hands:)

Joanne said the trees look like broccoli here.

And we finally saw the Giant Buddha! Albeit from a distance.


Ain't the place pretty:)
I wished we had streets like that.

And then we went to this little shop that's quite unknown to tourists and had beancurd!
It tasted especially good with a little ginger powder and under the hot weather:D

Someone had to take the photo just when I blinked. Tsk.
Anyway, no prizes for guessing if we climbed up to the top.
We wanted to conserve energy for the latter part of the trip!
Call us lazy bums, lol.

Going back down, we had a cable car to ourselves as most people tourists were heading upwards at that time and not downwards.

At the end of the day, I hate prawns.
Lesson learned: Don't order so many dishes when only two of us are eating.
