Was close to fainting in school today. A couple of times while climbing the stairs my legs felt like giving out. I'm not feverish, I just feel very lousy. And my whole body's aching. That's not a good thing, is it? The sore throat is killing my voice too, which gets me pretty worried cos auditions are coming up. Missed choir today to come home early to rest. But I'll probably still read my geog notes later. Had math test today- confirm fail. Didn't even attempt enough questions to pass can.
I am in serious need of more fun in my life now. I hate routine, even though I probably can't live without it. How ironic is that.
Darn those e-lectures, I'd rather go to school. I wasted 1 1/2 hours of my time yesterday morning trying to access ivle. It took eons to load. I think I must have refreshed the page a hundred times-no exaggeration here. And the worst thing was it was all to no avail. Which got me rather pissed off- my boss would know this, of course. Then I had this brilliant idea: "Hmm, I shall access my lectures on friday at 6am. By then, I doubt there'll be very few people to make the system lag and unaccessible." So I got up at 6 and tried to log in. Amazingly, the ivle homepage loaded and displayed itself in front of me like it was never gone yesterday. "Hurray!" I thought to myself. "Finally." I still haven't forgiven ivle for pangseh-ing me yesterday. I clicked on the 'jc2 e-lectures' branch. Out popped- gp and ki. I stoned for a moment. I refreshed the page. Again the same things popped out. "Shit I'm screwed." I thought. "I think they took away the other files." Therefore, I didn't get to access the other e-lectures. Oh yeah, my e-learning days totally rock. Bottomline: I'm screwed. And thanks alot to ivle. -_-
AJI on wednesday was half brilliant, half was... err well... into the abyss. Rocked the audi vs Excruciatingly painful to watch/listen. And I shall leave it at that. No point elaborating. Winner was D2 Ainesh. I loved his performance. And it once again made me sad because I can't dance. Not one bit. And also, a GOOD JOB to Pamela because I thinkyou did your best ever performance (as well as vocally) as compared to all the practices I've heard you:) Even though you didn't mention me on stage (LOL)- it's OKAY. cheers. I think the judges were okay, but a couple of them didn't speak much. And of course mr toh was being mean and showing-off as usual.=X I quite enjoyed myself for the night overall:D
ORLJ today was quite fun la, I guess. But I feel it was too short. And I didn't get to drink my starbucks coffee!:( Am tired now. There's still cca tomorrow. What a sad life. I've to chiong my work now. Ciaos.
Back to school: I'm thinking if I should just forget about the choir trip in july- I just got back back my econs term test yesterday to find out that I'd flunked. 8/20. What a horrible feeling. I'd expected myself to pass, at the very least:( It hurts extra bad to fail a subject you like. And if I'd not been careless, I would've passed. But that's an 'if', of course, and it's too late for 'if's already. Math and geog tests are coming up next week, and I have absolutely zero confidence, because I haven't touched on any revision yet. This sucks. My math lecture notes are stuck at probability. I've been s&s during most math lectures nowadays:X (*s&s: stone and sleep) And saturday practices are starting this week, which means I won't be able to tutor the primary school kids anymore:( I think my cip hours will just stay stagnant at 20-plus hours. My SGC is gonna be real bad, because I have absolutely nothing under leadership while my community involvement is insignificant. Oh, as if I need more things to add to my existing stress.
All the expectations I have of myself are sucking whatever energy I'm left with. Everyday is a struggle to stay awake. Getting my brain to function and listening to, not hearing, teachers during lessons is an even harder struggle. It's like I'm testing my resilience capacity everyday. I just hope at the end of day, I get what I'm aiming for.
I just need a break, which is an impossible thing to get now. Guess I'll have to wait till the A's are over. 2010, come quickly!
Went to srjc to watch the match against aj today. Too bad aj lost, because I think we really deserved to win as we had the better chances. Blame it on luck perhaps? Or that little bit of exquisite touch that would have made the difference? I'm thinking a 'Torres-touch' here:)
I'm not too sad, mainly because I feel that aj has already improved beyond recognition. Being analytical, I've noticed a few areas aj can improve on, but shan't touch on that as of yet. The other reason is simply because I did not play (duh!). I think if I was part of the team I'd probably still be emo-ing. It makes a hell-lot of a difference, whether one has played or not. To friends: please, please, PLEASE cheer up okay? I know it takes time, but just don't be down for too long. It's all over so leave it at that and look forward to upcoming matches. I will still be rooting for you guys spiritually if not physically:D
And did I mention this stupid pundit on espn made me very pissed off just now.
Had choir exchange at vj today and I think we did OKAY in the end, which isn't too bad because we sounded like sai during warmups:) But sops didn't sing well, imo. We were quite pitchy for ronde too. Oh which reminds me, the stupid emcee said "Rond" instead of "Ron-day". I nearly snorted la, wth. Haha. Fortunately, there's still time for improvements. I just can't get the nagging and nervous feeling away that syf auditions are next week. ****! I'm damn scared:( I need a major confidence boost right now before I sink into a hole in the ground.
Liverpool got drawn against chelsea again for quarterfinals. We got the tough matchups. Zzz. But I'm still excited:)
I've been feeling lazy these few days. So busy and so little time to do anything I'd love to do=/
Choir camp was tiring. My only regret was having math lecture screw it during the games. Singing till my vocal chords were tired too. Feeling more nervous by the day for syf auditions...
Yesterday's choir workshop went quite well:) On the bus ride home I fell asleep and banged my head against the back headrest. But no one saw (I think?). Well at least I didn't miss my stop.
Screw -----. Hmph.
And I've given up on trying to access ivle. I've gotten 'oops this link appears broken' eight times in two days. Am pretty pissed off now. Homework sucks.
See- 'Man utd fans' abandoning their team when they're losing. Disgusting.
And I feel extra glad because the manu fans who live opposite my block finally learnt to shut up and admit defeat. I shouted myself hoarse when liverpool scored the first two goals because I was so bloody pissed off with the manu fans when ronaldo scored and they were cheering away. I hate ronaldo and manu to the max max max! Hmph.
Yesterday I went to yangzheng primary with a few peeps fromm 33/08 to tutor the kids. Was fun and enriching. Haha. I revised a bit of primary six science:) And there was this math problem sum not even any of us knew how to do and we were all so paiseh!! It goes to show how much primary school kids are made to learn. Poor things. I kind of forgot alot of things I learnt in p5 and 6 too. Hehe. I make quite a bad tutor. The students were like 10 times wore then my younger brother (he's in p5). Like a bunch of monkeys that wouldn't sit still and do their work. I had to sit or stand beside them to make sure they were doing their work and nothing else. So I kinda turned into a surveillance cam or something. Lol. Anyway, I'm looking forward to next week!:D
Been experiencing strange mood swings these few days.
I mean, not the serious kind of mood swings. But somehow or rather, I can feel strangely high and happy one moment, then by the next minute, I don't feel like talking at all. It's like that during lessons and breaks. Maybe I'm just tired. No, it's something more extreme. Zzz.
Anyhow, I finally played captain's ball on tuesday!!! Has been like, what, more than a year since I played captain's ball. The ultimate secondary school game. Haha:) Although, we lost, which is not the point, it was definitely funnn. Hehe, looking forward to pe on friday. Hopefully we can play again! 33/08!<3 :D
I've been trying to chiong my homework with the limited time I have too. Math is still like, thumbs down. I skipped vectors (1) tutorial to keep up with lessons, so I guess I will have extra work to do during the holidays week after this. Ahem, holidays are non-existent. Busy busy busy. Probably just like any typical jc student. No life right. I used to complain so much about how jc life sucked, but I sort of came to terms and accepted this fact umm, just three weeks ago. I think.
Choir sectionals today sucked. We didn't put in enough effort and so we got a 'prep talk'. I still prefer to be scolded though. Never mind, we will improve!
I don't even want to think about next week. I think it's gonna be an even-busier-than-school-week week. Save me.
Quote of the week: She doesn't walk, she floats. Okay, fine, I kind of agree. LOL.
Liverpool 4 Real Madrid 0 Hallelujah! Hope man u gets kicked out of champions league tonight. Then you will see my glee tomorrowXP
OH MY GOODNESS there's a subway in northpoint. Finally. Am rejoicing. Hallelujah!*sings:D
Oh and did I say. I screamed. Like the high-pitch one. Like just 5 minutes ago. And how often does that happen. It was because of something stupid that happened to me. Shan't elaborate. Hehex.XP
Had flu today in school. It was horrible. Got worse and worse as the day passed. Somehow I managed to come through alive. Not unscathed though. My nose hurts like hell because I've been blowing it so much today=/
I don't know what to say, I'm just feeling rather happy now because napfa is over (screw it):D And so is econs test, which I might have a chance of passing provided someone doesn't minus two marks by default. Heheh. It seems not too long ago that I was taking my first napfa in primary four and feeling nervous like an arse and then now, everything is OVER. Like no napfa forever (and ever!). And I can't wait to start on games during pe now!:)
Oh I scored an 'A' for my chem test and I'm proud of it. Obviously. Giving my ego a boost HAHA.
Lots of work to do during the weekends- I don't know what to begin with. I have a mental image of myself being buried under worksheets now. Hmm. The good thing is I have no extra distactions this weekend because there's no liverpool match. Which means I have no excuses to slack and be moody.
Today's dismissal was entertaining. We had to wait till 12.15 before the security guard would let us out of school. So there was sort of like a linear 'squat'ter (literally) settlement forming on the carpark pavement. LOL. School feels like jail. Even the uniform gives you a dull feeling.
We irritate the hell out of each other. I like to annoy and tease people and also make lame comments. It's a habit, I guess. Get used to it. :P
School is fun, sometimes. Other times, it's obviously not. Or most times, I'm dead while alive.
Now I have faced the truth entirely. So I shall only care about champions league:P No more heartbreaks, pleaze.
Napfa today was not so awesome. Started feeling nervous during the sexuality education talk, which was wayyy boring. Zzz... I screwed up IP!! And I hate myself. Got a freaking E. Okay I don't care anymore. Bronze le. :( Time to slack for 2.4.=/
Someone hit me the head today again. Okay, actually, two people did. Haha. As long as my hair is not messed up, it's fine.
