Okay, I'll have to admit, 'Public Enemies' fell short of my expectations.
I watched the movie today without a clue as to what was the movie about, except the fact that Johnny Depp and Christian Bale were starring in it. I'd expected a better plot, but I guess the producers couldn't twist it too much because it's based on a true story (I think).
And having said that, I conclude that I prefer guns with silencers. Hurhur. It feels as though every firearm used in the movie were shotguns because they were so freaking loud and powerful. So, modern guns anytime:)
I'm going to play the catch-up game.Yesterday's career and scholarship fair did little to help me iron out my thoughts. I still feel like a lost sheep:(
And I feel discriminated again, as an arts student. Most of the courses that had talks were mainly meant for science students. I was expecting more kinds of talks, especially for the arts and social sciences, such as economics and psychology, maybe even journalism (although I think there isn't such a course), but anyway, there was none. So I practically wasted my entire day.
Sighs.
Sport and science management sounds pretty interesting though:D

SINGAPORE 0 LIVERPOOL 5
Complete thrashing. Although I kind of pity the Singapore players.
Well, actually they only have themselves to blame for poor defence, but I felt the fans could have been more behind them. I mean, they could have cheered for both sides, right?
Pictures: [many thanks to liverpoolfc.tv again;P]
A sea of red @ the national stadium in Singapore, supporting Liverpool, of course.
YNWA

Holding scarves proudly above their heads and belting out "You'll Never Walk Alone" before the match.

Starting line-up: Cavalieri, San Jose Dominguez, Agger, Carragher (c), Degen, Babel, Leiva, Mascherano, Benayoun, Ngog, Voronin
Voronin scores at the stroke of halftime.
The two men who stole the limelight: Krisztian Nemeth(right) and Fernando Torres(left)- duh.
Fernando Torres Liverpool's number nine:D
Xabi Alonso the pass master, who received the best support of the match.
Torres in Daniel Bennett's jersey. I hope Bennett doesn't burn Torres's, because the former is an Everton fan.
Okay I'm off to do my homework.
:P

I just realised my blog has been a year old for 22 days.
I feel as though I've been taking the mere existence of this page for granted, with all the trash it has had to endure.
Still disappointed. Maybe this regret might pass if I really get to go to Liverpool within the next two or three years...
Anyways, here's Liverpool Football Club in Singapore:

Arrival at Changi Airport on thursday. VIPs!!!

Torres and Carragher @ Novena Square for meet and greet session

I could have, and should have been there...
Sighs. Regrets...

Training. Alonso, don't go to Real!=/

Fernando Torres and Lucas Leiva in training

Fernando Torres resting and looking cute.XD
I can't wait for the match tomorrow, even though I'm not watching it at the national stadium, even though Steven Gerrard's not going to be there, and even though Torres is going to play only ten minutes.
Lunched with sin yee yesterday at nihon mura:)
I practically binged without the intention to do so.
I had a chicken teriyaki bento set and this:
Gigantic blackforest cake with ice-cream.
I'd originally thought the cake was only half this size, so I ordered it for dessert. But in the end, it was too big a slice, both of us didn't finish our cake. We left lots of cream behind haha.
Random picture of friday:

Boss's wound that looked like a Japanese flag.
Lol :P
I feel as though we are drifting further apart from each other day by day.
I. Hate. This.
Please prove me wrong.

No one can understand how I feel now; I feel terribly awful.
I will regret this forever. I am already regretting.
No one can cheer me up now.
:( :( :( :( :(
Why can't I have at least a friend or family member who is a liverpool fan like me?:(

I wonder when will I start feeling the heat.
The heat that will make me start to REALLY study.
I'm still quite slack now.
The teachers are the ones who're counting down to the A's instead of me.
Today ms johnson said "six weeks to prelims" and I was like, just stunned for a moment.
"Omg, six weeks? Hmm. That's (gulps) quite fast." Then I realised there's only August, September and October before Novenber.
I mean like duh, it's common sense but then it was a horrible realisation for me that the exams are so freaking near.I felt so stressed and outcasted during math lecture today. Everyone was busy doing the unseen question and I was stoning in the middle of all the discussion. I kept thinking "Wth, how come everyone can remember the conditions for composite and inverse functions and I always can't seem to remember?"
I need to get started on math, now. If only the tests would stop. I need more time for self-study!
Okay I'm starting to sound pathetic. Pfft.
Anyways, I'm still glad that the first four days of the week are OVER. Phew. Four tests in four days is ----. And I am very likely to flunk three of them. Zzz.
Will be lunching at fish and co tomorrow:)
Basketball tomorrow:)
I want the autographs very badly.
Sighs.
And I can't believe that I didn't know the match yesterday was broadcasted live on tv. Whatever.

I feel like I'm living in a shell nowadays.
Don't feel like doing anything but slack=/
Went to town with boss on friday because I was feeling nice that day.XP
Were supposed to watch movie but there weren't any suitable timings:(
But but but I managed to satisfy my craving for mc spicy.
And then I spent 8 bucks plus on famous amos cookies which I'm happily chewing on now:)
Then on the walk back home from khatib mrt I bought a taiwan xiang chang (sausage) from the pasar malam. Less than 2 minutes later I bought some ice-cream (oh man I nearly typed 'ice-scream') because the weather was so hot.
When I got home I realised dismally that I was too full to eat my sausage because of the ice-cream I'd eaten so I gave it to my mom.
I think I consumed twice as much calories that I'm supposed to on friday!!! Die.
Received my midyear result slip on friday.
26 rank points! LOL. Very bad!!!
Must work harder le. Final stretch to A's.
But I think the teachers' comments part quite funny haha.
Mr Herd gave all of us 'very good' for everything! Haha.
Oh I had a wild time playing basketball on friday pe:D:D:D
Looking forward to shooting practice next week!:D
Okay I'm off to slack for the rest of the day:)
I guess I'll have to watch them on tv again, as usual.=/Labels: unhappening life; __ so close yet so far.

Sent in my entry to the sunday times. Hopefully, something good comes out of it. If not, I guess I'm fated not to watch the match=/
Anyhow, my econs moved up to a 'D' grade because I managed to get 2 extra marks for the case study. Even though Mr Toh was really reluctant to give me the marks HAHA. He was reluctant to give anyone any marks at all. Mean. Hurhur.
And I passed my gp! Though not as good as I'd wanted the grade to be, well, at least I passed:)
Have been sorely deprived of entertainment this few days because the tests just keep coming. And help help help because this is gonna go on till we're released for study leave, which only happens in term 4!
Ugh. So sick of studying already.
Having to play catch-up isn't easy. It's darn difficult.
I just wanna get out and leave my worries behind for awhile.Sigh.

A tinge of regret for two things. No, make it three.Back to school today for d-day.
Received three subject papers and oh well, what can I say.
2 U's and an E.
What's the point regretting now, huh.
I tried hard for two of the papers; the other, I have nothing to say.
I just realised something: E for Econs. Okay nevermind, I'm being lame.My current medal tally is 1 E and 3 U's.
I'm banking on GP to lighten the mood- my mood, that is.
It's always when I'm alone at home when I start to reflect on what I've done for mid-years to deserve anything better than what I've gotten so far. Well at least, that's the case for two of the subjects of the five.
Getting back GP tomorrow; I'm nervous.><
Trying to finish up my 'liverpool essay' amidst the crazy load of homework and never-ending tests these days=/
I wanna get those tickets!!:(
Zzz okay PE nearly killed me today.
I'm zapped.
Sapped. Whatever the word is.
Must the teachers cooperate that much to torture us during our first PT PE of the term?
My legs were jelly after doing the three sets of step-ups on steps that were higher than my knees! And I
think swear the teachers were gleefully watching us being tortured.
I mean, they should pile up the exercises progressively each week instead of getting us do everything in one pe lesson.
Sighs. Okay, I'm exhausted now.

The stupid fever that made me miss two days of school!:(
I think I'll fall behind even more for math. Die.
I've been experiencing bouts of cold and then hot again; I don't even know what's wrong with my body. But it's not h1n1. Haha.
It's so boring at home. Sighs.
And help! I'm turning into a pig!
Stupid medicine makes me feel drowsy- I sleep after eating my meals.
And I hate big and round tablets. Eww.
Labels: alice is sick:(

sore throat plus headache not equals h1n1.
I think.
Was woozy in school today. Somehow managed to stay awake.
I was hoping I would get a fever because I was feeling feverish, but I missed by 0.3 degrees.
U for chemistry!:(
Now I feel guilty for skipping the entire ionic equilibria topic, because I scored a mere 1 out of 20 marks for the ionic eq question.
Sighs.
I promise not to skip the topic anymore.
But I'm still expecting a couple more U's:(
Sorry for not being able to sing today!=/
Panadol's making me drowsy now.
Off to sleep. Bye earthlings.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen was darn nice:):):)
I can't fathom why its reviews in the papers were so bad.
But who cares anyway. The movie was like nearly action all the way, and the effects were g-o-o-d!:D
And then I was reminded why I fell in love with optimus prime again. Haha.XP
The only thing I disliked was the unfairness that the autobots were forever outnumbered by the decepticons.
Results for mid years are dismal.
And I miss sitting at the area outside the bookshop in the mornings. I think it's the only place I can do homework and ask people if I have to.
Haha and I think I saw yee like, five times in school today:P
*squints at yee (don't make lame comments please. lol.)

I've been slacking the entire weekends.
Hadn't bothered to do my gp homework. Wonder if I'm the only one?
Anyways, it's my last chance to get tickets to the liverpool match. I'm writing an essay now, but the newspapers didn't specify the word limit; I think my essay's gonna bust 5oo words for sure! Maybe the judges won't even bother to read the entire essay=/
I bought a spanish dictionary yesterday. Can finally start learning:D
Read 'Sail' by James Patterson as well. A very good read indeed.
Watching transformers revenge of the fallen later!:D

Yippee! Finally.
The past week seemed to drag on forever.
My 50-percent gut feeling, 50-percent I-know-it feeling tells me this:
GP: D
Econs: E/S
Geog: S
Math: U
Chem: U
Hurhur. The future looks bleak:(
And to clarify, my absence on this blog does not mean I've ebeen mugging hard! Haha. I'm not that hardworking=/
Now, on to feeding my drama addiction!XD
And on to holiday homework. Sigh.
